Biography

Wes Halloran (he/him) is a lighting and sound designer, moving light programmer, production electrician, and A1. He originally hails from Memphis, Tennessee but has called Colorado home for 12 years. With a primary focus as a production electrician and moving light programmer, Wes has worked with Town Hall Arts, Lincoln Center, Lamont Opera, Barrington Stage Company, Local Theatre Company, and GaiaTV, among others. He has also designed and mixed sound for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, the Denver Center Theatre Company, and even Jared Polis.

As head of the Electrics and the Lighting Shop at CSU, Wes supervises the installation and maintenance of all lighting systems, teaches lighting design 1 and 2, and mentors lighting and sound students in console programming and systems engineering. Wes is fluent in Digico, Yamaha, Studer, Soundcraft, Midas, and ETC Eos consoles.

Wes holds a B.F.A. in Lighting and Sound Design from the University of Colorado and is a proud member of IATSE Local 7. He has a cat named Harold.
