Theatre and the Arts in London

Are you looking for an unforgettable summer experience? Are you hoping to travel out of the country for a few weeks? Are you passionate about theater and the art of production?

The London study abroad experience includes seeing 15 live shows, a visit to Warner Brothers' Harry Potter Film Studio, a trip to the Globe Theatre, and backstage tours!  You'll walk in the footsteps of The Beatles, go to theatre and dance Live Music/Rock 'n Roll events, and visit pubs, and historic sights.

Summer 2021 productions include Hamilton, Les Miserables, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Waitress, and more in London’s West End (subject to change). Travel to Stratford-Upon-Avon to visit the Royal Shakespeare Company, and visit Shakespeare's birthplace and grave.

Who: Students interested in theatre, dance, music, the arts, and studying abroad in a cultural capital of Europe, London.

What: This three-week summer education abroad program offers 3-6 upper division credits and enables you to spend three weeks in the heart of London, immersed in the artistic and theatre capital of the world. You will gain insight and experience from attending an exciting mix of performances, as well as have numerous opportunities to explore areas of personal interest, such as the visual arts, dance, and music. The course for the program is TH479: Theatre of London-Travel Abroad (3 credits).

When: July 12-31, 2021

Where: London, England & Stratford-Upon-Avon. Situated in the heart of Europe's largest capital city, London, this course provides access to world-class theatre, world-famous performers, and an endless array of artistic venues. Students will live in apartments and have plenty of free time when not at performances or excursions for the program. Excursions include Shakespeare’s birthplace and grave, Hampton Court Palace, The British Museum, The Imperial War Museum, The National Theatre Backstage Tour, The Tate Museum of Modern Art, The Tower of London, St. Pauls Cathedral, Warner Bros Harry Potter London Studios, pubs, and much more.
