"I am incredibly grateful for my education at Colorado State University. Not only did my classes and collegiate productions help me hone my craft and grow as a stage manager, my professors also provided me with networking opportunities, which launched my career in many different ways. It is thanks to my professors and experience at CSU that I was hired by regional apprenticeships, a pre-Broadway production, and multiple local performing arts companies – all of which led to me fulfilling my dream of becoming a touring stage manager. Now, more than three years on the road and on my sixth touring production, I could not be more grateful for my time at Colorado State University." – Tara Tolar-Payne (CSU 2020, B.A. in Theatre, Design and Technology)
Tara recently concluded being Assistant Stage Manager on the National Tour of Annie and is now Assistant Stage Manager on the National Tour of Les Misérables
