Boy Gets Girl receives positive response from KCACTF

screenshotCSU Theartre received a positive response to the recent online production of Boy Gets Girl from Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) representative Shea King. Each year, representatives from KCACTF — the national theatre program dedicated to the improvement of collegiate theatre in the United States — score and provide feedback on submitted productions.

Ratings given by Mr. Shea King now qualify CSU Theatre cast members and design students to compete for sponsored awards at the KCACTF Region 7 in Spring 2021.

  • Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Auditions for monologues and two-person scenes: Tony Carr (Tony Ross), Kelby Jakober (Theresa Bedell), and Adam Isaacs (Les Kennkat)
  • Meritorious Awards for Design and Technology: Lorna Stephens for sound, Ryan Stabler and Katie Strickland for lighting, and Katie Kinslow for stage management.
