CSU Theatre student creativity rewarded at KCACTF

After a fun-filled, exciting, and somewhat exhausting week at the Region VII Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Spokane, Washington, Feb. 18-27, 2024, CSU Theatre danced, sang, and designed their way into some awards!

The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) is a national theatre program, with more than 20,000 participants annually, and, according to the organization’s website, “For 50 years, the organization has served as a catalyst in improving the quality of college theater in the United States.” (kennedy-center.org)

CSU theatre students have placed at KCACTF regionals for nearly two decades, and it is the seventh year in a row that they have received a National Award in Excellence in their area. Several students are advancing to the KCACTF national conference held in Washington, D.C. this April.

Many congratulations!
