Biography
Chris Carignan is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in music composition and sound design. He has been involved in the music business for 30+ years working professionally as a foley mixer, live-mix engineer, and studio musician. Chris has taken on roles of composer, sound designer, recording engineer, band leader, and lyricist. In 2004, his band, Mr. Orange Undercover, was nominated for “best punk album” at the San Diego Music Awards. He has performed in 300+ shows nationally and his work is available on Amazon, Netflix, Lifetime Television, iTunes/Spotify.
In 2012, Chris joined the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego as a props artisan. In 2015, he relocated to Weber State University as their scene shop supervisor/prop mentor. In 2017, he pursued a degree in Sound for the Performing Arts from Purdue University and is currently the sound mentor/audio coordinator at the University Center for the Arts in Fort Collins, Colorado.
