Theatre is an open major at CSU—you do not need to audition to be accepted into the major. Please apply to CSU through the Office of Admissions.

Attend our next Virtual Visit Session with Theatre Faculty, Staff, and Students

The 2021 virtual visit session is for high school students, transfer students, and associate degree graduates and their parents/guardians to meet with CSU Theatre students and faculty. The experience includes themed break-out sessions.

Itinerary (subject to change):

Part I: Introduction to CSU Theatre for students and parents/guardians

Dr. Megan Lewis, director of CSU Theatre, will introduce faculty from each area.
Walt Jones, theatre professor, will explain the Freshman Theatre Seminar and Project.
Elise Kulovany, costume shop manager, will explain the CSU Theatre Mentor Program.
CSU Theatre students representing the Student Advisor Council (James Fagan) and the Theatre Diversity and Inclusion Committee (Whitney Roy) will share details about these committees.
Study Abroad options will be explained by theatre professor Price Johnston and Dr. Megan Lewis.
Each summer, CSU Theatre offers six exciting community engagement sessions with the Kids Do It All: Summer Music-Theatre Camp. Opportunities for CSU students to work at the camp will be shared by Walt Jones.

Although CSU Theatre performances look a little different during the pandemic, shows are continuing as we tap into our technical creativity and compelling performance skills to achieve something extraordinary.

We’d like to invite you to watch CSU Theatre’s first ever full-length film — Concord Floral by Jordan Tannahill, streaming on Dec. 16, 18, and 19 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m.
