CSU Theatre welcomes Jay Duckworth
Jay Duckworth has an extensive resume that includes working for 12 years as the props master at the Public Theatre in N.Y.C., working on productions such as Hamilton, Coal Country, Bright Room Called Day, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide, and many more. He has most recently served at Pace University, teaching theatre props class, Creative Collaborations, and Theatre History for Design. Jay is an active member of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology (USITT) where he has been a keynote speaker, and is a member of the Society of Props Artisan Managers (SPAM). Jay is a history buff and loves learning and incorporating the way objects were used in everyday life into his work.
