The annual fashion event had its 20th iteration at the Fort Collins Lincoln Center on Oct. 7, 2022. Billed as "Where Fashion Meets Fine Art," the stunning showcase of "wearable art" was made all the more engaging by the talents and labor of CSU Theatre students, faculty, and staff.
- Lighting Design – Wes Halloran
- Set and Projections – Roger Hanna
- Shop Support – Steven Workman and Heidi Larson
- CSU Theatre work study students in carpentry, paint, and electrics built, painted, and loaded in with supervision from Assistant Technical Director Joe Shelly and Master Carpenter Johnie Rankin.
Outside of CSU productions and classes, work on ARTWEAR is an example opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in professional settings.
According to the ARTWEAR website, the ArtWear Biennial is dedicated to highlighting the work of wearable art artists. ArtWear's goal is to present innovative and wearable work of the highest quality and provide a forum to share enthusiasm for an exploration of techniques and materials. The week-long event includes a theatrical fashion show and sales gallery that double as a fundraiser for The Lincoln Center’s Visual Arts Program.
