CSU Theatre is pleased to announce two new staff members who are joining the team!

Melissa Centgraf, Head of Properties: Melissa has a B.A. in Technical Theatre from Illinois State University, and has more than two decades of experience working in props for institutions such as Milwaukee Rep, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Goodman Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks, and Utah Shakespeare Festival. She and her family are avid rock climbers and are looking forward to coming to the Rockies.

Karl Hermanson, Scenic Charge Artist. Karl has a B.A. in Fine Art with a minor in Art Ed, as well as an M.F.A. in Theatre Design and Technology from the University of South Dakota. He has been working in the industry since 1985 as a scenic artist and props artist. He has worked for LORT companies, film and television, backdrop companies, dinner theatres, community theatres, Shakespeare festivals, and more. Karl has most recently served as head of props and paints at the University of Arkansas for the past five years. Karl lived in Colorado for several years and is looking forward to coming back to Northern Colorado.
